Abigail has experience in a range of commercial and civil dispute resolution matters, including corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, shareholders’ disputes and contractual claims. Apart from contentious matters, Abigail has also assisted clients in the review and drafting of various commercial agreements, including employment agreements and employee share option plans.

Notable cases that Abigail has assisted with include:

• Acting for the Singapore branch of an Italian construction and engineering conglomerate with debts in excess of €1 billion in obtaining Singapore court orders recognising the company’s rehabilitation proceedings in Italy.
• Acting for a leading contract manufacturer in Thailand in arbitration proceedings against a major Chinese automobile manufacturer.
• Acting for a major bank creditor in the interim judicial management of Xihe Holdings Pte Ltd (part of the troubled Hin Leong group of companies).
